about me & my work

Hi, my name is Karolina,

​

For me, yoga is about connection - to oneself and to others, to our community. It is openness and compassion. Moving through life with ease, being mindful and attentive. It is not only movement but it’s how you live your life. There is a courage in vulnerability, responsibility in freedom, a gift in a life that we get to live here on earth. 

 

Practice means so many different things to so many people, that’s why I like to bring variety to everything I do. My classes are combination of different elements that are weaving together and lead you into a blissed state. The way I teach is by providing safe space for people to be able to open up for exactly what is. I came to yoga through movemnet and asana but quickly discovered that yoga is so much more than just different poses. Yoga was breath, connection, compassion... It taught me to slow down and sit with myself and everything that was happening inside. Through yoga I am still learning about myself and the world around me. And that's what I'm trying to share through teachig.

 

I try to make it about the small pleasures - on and off the mat: I love intuitive movement, slow long exhales, mornings with matcha, I love reading books, I love sun touching my skin, the smell of the first cold sunrise, huge snowflakes, cup of a good herbal tea, sitting at a big table with everyone I love…

 

So I am planting a seed wishing it will grow over time into something bigger where we can support each other and share our knowledge and teachings.
